Go Green Week is 8th - 13th February and is designed to raise awareness about environmental issues and the different ways that you can make a difference.
The trouble with talking about environmental issues is that it is hard not to go straight to doom and gloom which is always a quick way to either have an argument or turn people off the subject.
However there are lots of small choices you can make which could make a difference.
For instance, our baby buddy baby comforters are not only organic and fairtrade, they are also upcycled as well.
They are made from fabric left over from the manufacture of kids clothing which could have ended up in land fill. When you make kids clothing there is always some fabric left over. This is because more fabric is manufactured than absolutely needed in case something goes wrong. Also there is a couple of meters left on the roll which cannot be cut to pattern.
So not only is the fabric organic but it is also saving waste.
This is good, but what makes it great is that these are gorgeous comforters for babies. It doesn't matter how "good" a product is, if your baby doesn't like it then theres no point buying it. These comforters are soft, washable and perfect for newborn babies
For older children we have a similar product but in a larger size
And we even have a beautiful organic elephant
So there you have it, buy beautiful toys and save the world all in one go.
