Eco, ethical, and green toys are becoming increasingly popular among parents who want to ensure that their children’s toys are safe for the environment and their health. These toys are made from sustainable materials, such as recycled plastic, organic cotton, and sustainably harvested wood, and are free from harmful chemicals.
As a small toy company environmental and ethical issues are very important to us and, and is central to how we make our toys. Whether it is our Dinosaur toys or our organic baby comforters we continue to make progress but how have we done in 2023?
Offsetting Carbon Emissions when you are a small toy company is both complicated and simple, hard to arrange but easy to do. So how have we achieved it and what were the obstacles we faced?
We work with many fair trade producers to make our toys and we are very proud to sell fair trade toys. However we are also proud of our dinosaur toys and our organic toys which are made in China and India. We use the expression “ethically sourced” to show that we know where these toys are made, who makes them and that there is transparency in our supply chain.
As part of our work to Reuse, Reduce, Recycle using Upcycled materials is probably the most environmentally friendly thing we do.
