Our pterodactyl knitted flying dinosaur toy in striking yellow yarn has bat-like wings and a crest on its head. The pterodactyl is not strictly a dinosaur but was in fact a type of flying reptile - part of the pterosaur family. As it lived in the same period as the dinosaurs, in the late Jurassic period, we have decided to add it to our knitted dinosaur toys family. Pterodactyls would have been approximately the same size as modern birds such as eagles and hawks.

I love this little dinosaur! I bought the blue one for my nephew while in Fort Augustus and couldn't help but order the pink one when my niece arrived. They're both really lovely and the perfect size for a newborn. The delivery was super quick and the Best Years team were more than happy to replace the dinosaur when it arrived with a couple of marks on it. I will definitely be buying more from here in the future. Cannot fault the customer service and have already told my family all about the website!
