Our pterodactyl knitted flying dinosaur toy in striking yellow yarn has bat-like wings and a crest on its head. The pterodactyl is not strictly a dinosaur but was in fact a type of flying reptile - part of the pterosaur family. As it lived in the same period as the dinosaurs, in the late Jurassic period, we have decided to add it to our knitted dinosaur toys family. Plesiosaurus is an extinct marine reptile that lived in the Jurassic period. The plesiosaurus was twice as long as a modern horse and weighed twice as much as a modern pig. The name plesiosaurus means 'almost lizard' though it is often described as looking like a combination of a modern day turtle and snake.

Beautiful Dippy, not only is he cuddly but has the most beautiful friendly face. He is Robust and can take on any challenge a baby/toddler can put him through! His nose may have been bitten a good few times, his spikes picked on a regular basis and his tail chews on through teething. But Dippy still looks as good as new, never complaining.
