Our pterodactyl knitted flying dinosaur toy in striking yellow yarn has bat-like wings and a crest on its head. Plesiosaurus is an extinct marine reptile that lived in the Jurassic period. The plesiosaurus was twice as long as a modern horse and weighed twice as much as a modern pig. The name plesiosaurus means 'almost lizard' though it is often described as looking like a combination of a modern day turtle and snake.
As the plesiosaurus lived in the same period as the dinosaurs, we have decided to add this baby dinosaur soft toy to our knitted dinosaur teddy family.

The titanosaur dinosaur is one of the largest known creatures to walk on planet Earth. The largest titanosaurs were four times the weight of the diplodocus dinosaur, so it can be hard to imagine that a dinosaur of that size grew from a football sized egg. Like the triceratops and stegosaurus, this was a herbivorous dinosaur that fed off vegetation high off the ground.
