The elephant stacker toy idea came from our fair producer in Sri Lanka, because elephants hold huge significance in the country, both culturally and economically. These stacker toys are handmade from sustainably sourced wood. We call them Thunpath Rena elephant toys - Thunpath Rena is the name for the family unit that looks after each baby elephant. This comprises of the mother, the baby and another adult female elephant normally the mother’s sister. This trio bond together and the calf is nurtured and protected within this trio.
