When we think of dinosaurs we tend to think first of the T Rex but did you know that actually most dinosaurs were herbivores? Kids love dinosaur, dinosaur toys and they love dinosaur facts so here's a quick run down on the gentle giants of the dinosaur world.

Best Years was set up in 2001 and we have always been conscious of ethical sourcing. We have always known the people who make our toys and we have never gone in search for cheap over ethics. Our concern for ethical sourcing was solidified in 2008 when the financial crisis arrived. Our customers at this time were larger retailers and they all demanded price reductions. Many of our fellow wholesalers managed this by finding cheaper manufacturers. We managed it by finding better customers.

As a company we are big fans of fair trade and try to find new fair trade partners where ever possible. We are therefore very pleased to announce the introduction of a new range of handmade and fair trade dinosaur toys. We already have fair trade dinosaur toys in wood, and also our hand made natural rubber dinosaur toys and our cotton dinosaur toys make a great addition to our dinosaur ranges.

We've got large Dinosaur toys, in fact we've got 3 large knitted dinosaur toys (Titanosaur, Diplodocus and T Rex toys) but now we have Giant Dinosaur Soft Toys.

We have a lot of new dinosaur toys arriving in September 2019, but how do we choose which dinosaurs to make and where to make them?

Most children love dinosaurs but finding dinosaur toys which are safe for babies and suitable for small hands can be difficult. If you are looking for dinosaur toy or dinosaur teddies for babies and toddlers we have loads for you to chose from.

If you have a dinosaur mad kid finding unusual dinosaur toys for them can be a hassle. There are lots of T Rex dinosaur toys, or even Diplodocus and Triceratops dinosaur toys, but finding a dinosaur toy they don’t have can be difficult. This is why we are delighted to introduce our Parasaurolophus dinosaur toy. 

Our dinosaur toy range doesn’t just include dinosaurs so while we say new dinosaur toy both the Mammoth and Mastodon were actually prehistoric animals living "just" 10,000 years ago. So our Mammoth and Mastodon toys look quite similar as the animals did have a lot of similarities, but have some distinct differences.

It was our agent in Scotland who in January first noticed that the T Rex birthday card in her local supermarket store bore a startling resemblance to our knitted T Rex dinosaur toy.
